Policies
 
Dues
Annual family membership dues of $10.00 are used to cover membership packets and handouts, marketing, a picnic in July and a holiday party in December. The dues need to be paid by the February meeting. For members joining at or after the July picnic, annual dues will be $5.00.

Meetings
Attendance at one meeting is required before utilizing childcare services and members should attend at least six meetings per year. This is important so parents can get to know one another and feel comfortable exchanging services. If a member misses more than six meetings, she will be chartered 8 points for each meeting missed up to a total of the 6 meetings (i.e. 6 meetings missed = 48 points deducted).

Utilization
Members should use the exchange at least once a month. A member is considered inactive after 60 days of non-use either as hiring a sitter or being a sitter. After 3 consecutive months of non-use you will be charged 8 points for each subsequent month of non-use.

Withdrawl
A resigning member must pay $.50 for each point that she owes. Every effort should be made to resign with zero balance. A resigning member cannot give points to another member.

Service
Each member serves as hostess and secretary at least one month of the year. A member can also volunteer or be elected as president or vice president/treasurer and will serve for one year. View 2008 Service Schedule
